Aggie shortstop Blake Allemand has something against LSU.

And whatever it is, he's channeling it.

Two games into the 'series of the year,' Allemand is making general chaos everywhere he goes in Alex Box Stadium. His Cloverfield rampage began Thursday night with three hits, one walk and one run scored in a "losing effort." But he returned Friday for more.

In the ongoing second game Allemand has made the greatest impact this side of Ryan Hendrix, tallying two hits, an RBI (then the go-ahead run), a run scored and a #SCTop10 nominee to help stymie LSU's speedy offense. Observe:

Not just to piss everyone off, no.

I am not superstitious, but a bunch of baseball fans are. Just sayin' , right or wrong. Part of the enjoyment of baseball is because of some of the superstitions. Rally beer anyone?

Writing an article that pisses off your audience and then telling them their beliefs don't matter or talking down to them is not a good way to grow your fan base.

That's enough from me. I'll get off my soap box.

FWIW, it was staff behavior like this that made me cancel my subscription years ago here and kept me from renewing. Not the superstition stuff. The smugness.
