On Wednesday D1Baseball continued its post-midseason weekly projection of the NCAA Baseball Tournament Field. To no surprise, Texas A&M holds as the projected No. 1 overall seed.
This after Sunday's 13-5 pantsing of Mississippi State boosted A&M's record to 33-3 and clinched its eighth win in eight series this season, along with a 3-0 weekend at the neutral-site Houston College Classic in early March.
But a lot has happened since the Ags last lost a baseball series, and we like to ask the real questions here. So, here's an off-the-top-of-the-head list of all the things (the super-important things) that have happened since May 16, 2014 — the last time the Aggie baseball team lost more than one game in a regular-season weekend series.
What would you add?
The Aggies host Abilene Christian on Wednesday evening at 6:30 and it would be remiss not to mention A&M also hasn't lost a mid-week game since April 1, 2014. Then, rapidly improving Arkansas visits Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park beginning Friday for what's expected to be a packed SEC West series.
