Aggies selected as 2-seed in NIT's Temple Region

Texas A&M can’t go to the Big Dance, but the Aggies can aim for a shot at the Big Apple.
Officially rejected by the NCAA Tournament on Selection Sunday, the Aggies’ consolation prize was a No. 2 seed in the National Invitation Tournament. The Aggies (20-11) will play host to Montana (20-12) Tuesday night at 8 pm at Reed Arena.
The semifinals and finals of the 32-team NIT are held at Madison Square Garden in New York City beginning March 31.
