Aggies' spring continues under Sumlin's direction

Texas A&M sophomore defensive tackle Justin Manning is taking a “leave of absence” this spring, but is expected to return to team this summer, Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin said on Monday night.
Speaking to reporters after the fifth practice session of the spring, Sumlin acknowledged that Manning is not participating this spring. He also said that freshman offensive lineman Zach Ledwik has returned to the team after a brief departure.
