A lot of philosophy from GB during his presser. Wonder why team not jacked up more for Mizzou on Senior day with a big crowd even with JJ in the game? Frericks for Mizzou killed us, along with 5-9 on 3 balls the second half. Surely we knew what we were getting into at LSU for their Senior Day and LSU needing a win for SEC tournament positioning and even getting in the NCAA tournament.
Still no energy or much want to in this game, plus all the turnovers. Did play better after 20 down to cut it to 10, but too little too late. GB told the team to get out on Hayden as their only real 3 ball threat...so, she gets 19 in first half. The zone was to try and keep Ballard and Moncrief from driving to the basket. Had to get out of that when got so far behind...I think the plan was ok, but the energy, understanding and execution was lacking.

Interesting that before Mizzou Chelsea said the team was starting to feel a sense of urgency...really?
In this presser, GB said Curtyce does not know the whole offense, and he is relying on CWILL to help
and be more vocal. Wow...what does that tell you? Yes, all the players need to help, play harder, play smarter, etc to help fill the void of not having JJ on the court, but shouldn't the back up point guard know the whole offense at end of her second year, and third in the program after red shirt year?

We hear again in this presser that the team has to play smarter. After 28 games, when is that going to kick in? Are the schemes too complicated? Do the players not buy in to what the coaches are trying to do/teach? I believe Coach said he was simplifying some things going forward....maybe we can play more as athletes and not worry so much about all the info being called out from the sideline. Maybe we can be more fluid and not so tentative and hesitant.

Hopefully, the team will get back on track in the SEC tournament!! To me, there has just been a disconnect all year with the Coaches and this team. Maybe Coach get can it fixed and some players will step up now. It is the last rodeo for 4 seniors.

Agree. It frustrates me to no end that our game has little flow, that we have to practically slow down/stop to be sure we are running the correct play.

I truly do not know the answer to this question, and I'm not trying to be glib, but does any other successful team run so many set plays?
