Texas A&M is earning respect from NCAA basketball tournament bracketologists.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has the Aggies as a projected No. 9 seed in next month’s tournament. Jerry Palm of CBS projects A&M as an 11 seed and forecasts the Aggies facing North Carolina State in a “play-in” game.
The Aggies' 19-7 record, which includes 10 wins in the past 12 games, is convincing skeptics that A&M does indeed belong in the prestigious tournament field.
