Can anyone beat Kentucky?

Texas, Columbia, Louisville and Ole Miss were all able to keep the final score within 12 points. Each of these teams play a very different style of basketball. Texas has an inside/out game that has a very balanced offense between the post and the perimeter. Columbia is very methodical with its offense and slows the game down. Louisville is an up-tempo style of basketball that has the athletes to compete with most of the country. And Ole Miss is very guard-oriented and relies on long-range shooting and dribble penetration.

The teams that have been the most successful against Kentucky did not allow second chance points, didn't turned the ball over and executed an offense with discipline and purpose. But, the biggest difference between the teams that have come close to taking down the Cats is that they have taken advantage of their opportunities on offense and MADE shots.

Big-time players make big-time shots.

What does A&M need to do?
The Aggies are going to need GREAT performances from Alex Caruso, Danuel House, Jalen Jones and Kourtney Roberson. Caruso will need to take care of the ball, because the Wildcat guards are going to put an extreme amount of pressure on him the entire game. They know he makes this team run and they are going to heat him up.

House must attack the basket and not back down from the length and athleticism in the paint. He also needs to gain confidence in his shot and make a few three pointers to spread the defense.

Lindsay Crouch, TexAgs The Aggies will need their best players to play at their best in order to compete with the nation's No. 1 team. {"Module":"photo","Alignment":"left","Size":"large","Caption":"The Aggies will need their best players to play at their best in order to compete with the nation\u0027s No. 1 team.","MediaItemID":50336}
Jones can't worry about a sprained ankle. He has to be aggressive, use shot fakes and create, not absorb the contact. He is the Aggies' leading scorer and he has to play that way.

Roberson has to get a double-double if the Ags are going to be competitive in this game. He is the Aggies' most reliable post presence and A&M will need some type of fight on the glass.

The biggest thing A&M is going to need is composure. The Ags need to attack early and often and try to score easy baskets. If they don't have a chance to score in transition, they have to run their offense and make the Cats defend for the entire possession.

Good shots, no turnovers in the backcourt and limit offensive rebounds ... and the Aggies will have a chance to win the game.
