Nearly three have passed since Texas A&M has appeared among the top 25 in the national basketball rankings.

However, if A&M (6-1) can capture a victory over Baylor (7-1) on Tuesday night in Waco, the Aggies figure to at least begin getting consideration for the top 25.

After all, Baylor, whose only loss was 62-54 to No. 24 Illinois, was listed in the “others receiving votes” category of the most recent Associated Press poll.
