On a hot day that would test the coolness of Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, the Aggies took their first real exam of August camp.
A&M ran more than 90 plays in more than 90-degree heat in its first scrimmage of fall camp on Saturday.
Although Sumlin said he’d have to review video for final grades, he was confident running back Brandon Williams and middle linebacker Jordan Mastrogiovanni obviously passed Saturday’s football scrimmage with flying colors.
