I like to look ahead.

Therefore, earlier this week I began planning my weekend.

I considered driving to Austin to visit old friends and perhaps see the current movies playing at the local theaters. So, I checked the starting times for “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” “Horrible Bosses” and “Moneyball.”

Sure, you’re confused. You saw those motion pictures three years ago. So did I.

But those movies must be playing in Austin now, because folks over there seem to live in the past.
