With Kyle Field undergoing major change, TexAgs has decided to make a few changes as well. The TexAgs Tailgate will now be called the TexAgs Preseason Kickoff and we're extremely excited to open the registration today!

For the third year, the 12th Man Foundation will be the presenting sponsor and Zone Club will be the venue for our event. This will give you a bird's eye view of the progress being made on Phase I of the Kyle Field Redevelopment Project. Where else but a TexAgs event will you be able to enjoy family and friends, converse with Aggie legends and get an exclusive view of the Kyle Field makeover?

Be one of the first to register to claim your seat for what will prove to be the best TexAgs Preseason Kickoff to date. This will be another year of great food, good fellowship with the TexAgs Premium and Varsity communities, Aggie sports talk with former A&M athletes and current A&M coaches, while also including a few special guest speakers to highlight the day.

The celebrity guest list, shown below, will continue to expand with Aggie legends, as the days move forward. We'll also have a number of special guests that we're "efforting."

The setup will be similar to last year with a few changes here and there:

We will open up the TexAgs Headquarters at 4:00 p.m. for a little Friday afternoon open house on June 25. Then we'll head to our usual gathering at the ol' watering hole on Northgate - The Dixie Chicken - at 6:00. The following day, we'll meet at the Zone Club for an event that will include a catered meal, silent auction, raffle drawings, open forum discussions with our A&M celebrity guests and the presentation of our third annual "Liucci Awards." Doors open at 11:00 a.m. for cocktails, silent auction and a hangout. Lunch is served starting at 11:30. The official program gets underway at 1:00.

Our event is for a great cause and is also an excellent opportunity to get to know the guys and gals you spend so much time with on the boards every day, as well as a chance to "talk ball" with TexAgs staff and former A&M players and coaches.

We will be cross-checking names and usernames at the door. The reasoning behind that is because we want to keep this as a SPECIAL event, which is only available to you guys. If we opened it up to everyone, it would water it down quite a bit.

***Cost per "plate/seat" at the Tailgate Party: $35 per plate/seat for Premium subscribers; $25 per plate/seat for Varsity subscribers.

We have gone ahead and created a hotel block with three outstanding hotels in Bryan-College Station: Hyatt Place in College Station and Best Western in Bryan. They have given us a nice discount for July 25-26. All you have to do is call any of these three properties and give them the following rate code when booking your room: TAGS for Hyatt Place & Best Western.

This year, we will have nine Varsity level sponsorship opportunities. Each one of these sponsorships will include 10 complimentary tickets to the event, reserved premium seating (front and center), table recognition with logo, website recognition with logo, and both vocal recognition by the emcee and visual recognition on video screens during the event.

The Maroon and White level sponsorships include a donation of $500 and above. These sponsors will receive (user)name recognition on the Preseason Kickoff landing page, along with reserved seating at the event on July 26.

Why: Build a stronger community among TexAgs Premium subscribers and TexAgs staff; Raise money for "Noel Devin Scholarship Fund," the "Sandy Heidtke Fund" and the TexAgs Endowed Scholarship Fund; Provide a rare and unique experience for all of our loyal subscribers
