Though thrilling conference tournaments are now wrapped up, Selection Sunday marks the mere beginning of the Madness.

As we all know, one of American sports' greatest events wouldn't be complete without the office pools, picks and competition amongst friends that the release of the official tournament field brings. The stakes are high. The joy of gloating is higher.

This year we are again offering the opportunity to enjoy it all with the world's largest online community of Aggies. In celebration of March Madness we are pleased to announce we'll be holding a 2014 NCAA Tournament bracket challenge — and we invite all TexAgs members to participate.

To join, follow these steps:
  1. Visit this link to reach the TexAgs bracket page.
  2. Register with CBS Sports or sign in if you already have an account.
  3. Enter the pool password: texags12
  4. Make sure your team name is the same as your TexAgs username (you can do this by clicking the Options tab). Without this step your bracket will not be eligible for the prizes.
  5. To access the group page at any point after this, simply go to http://ta.mayhem.cbssports.com/.
"Wait — prizes, you say?"

Indeed.

Aggieland Outfitters is offering a set of spoils that includes: a $200 gift card for the first-place winner; a $100 gift card for second place; a $50 gift card for third; and a $50 gift card for the bracket that finishes in dead last place (it's harder than it sounds).

But wait, there's more!

This Bud Light package has been generously provided to TexAgs by Jack Hilliard Distributing and we are choosing to award it to the Elite Eight winner. That is, TA will provide to whomever gets all eight E8 teams correct — or to the entry with the highest amount of correct E8 picks — a fully stocked Bud Light mini fridge, eight Bud Light T-shirts and eight Bud Light hats.

Join today or any time before the start of the tournament and watch the chaos unfold. Thanks, gig 'em & happy bracketing,

TexAgs Staff
