Sophomore punter Drew Kaser was sold on Texas A&M the first time he visited.

It was January. It was 60 degrees. And back in his hometown of Strongsville, Ohio, there was a blanket of snow on the ground.

“Basically, I fell in love with the place,” Kaser said after Wednesday evening's practice. “The people … how nice they were. The weather … it was 60 degrees in January. I was down from where they had three feet of snow. You can’t compete with that.”

Nobody is competing with Kaser for the punting job, either.
