Mengden Ks 11, A&M beats Florida in SEC play-in

Daniel Mengden just saved Texas A&M's season with a masterful performance on the mound. The sophomore overcame a shaky start while working on two days short rest, locking in down the stretch to totally overwhelm Florida to lead the Ags to a 6-3 win in single-elimination, play-in action in the SEC Baseball Tournament.

Mengden tossed nine complete innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on five hits with one walk and 11 strikeouts. He retired the last 13 batters faced over the final 4.
