High Cotton: This is where, and how, a new era should begin

It seems so long ago now. It seems impossible to fathom, after a decade of what was mostly Aggie football futility.

But in the midst of an Aggies run of dominance in the late-1980s, Jackie Sherrill once famously was asked if it was getting “boring” always playing in the Cotton Bowl. The Aggies had won three consecutive conference titles and hence earned the automatic bid to the Cotton Bowl for a third consecutive time.
