Profile
One of the Ags' first 2010 commitments, Kennedy's stock rose steadily throughout his senior year. Malcome was asked to move from wide receiver to quarterback for his final season at Cayuga and all he did was lead the Wildcats to the Class A state championship.

In sixteen games, many of which were blowouts with the Cayuga starters sitting out the entire second half, Kennedy ran for 2,356 yards and 24 touchdowns on 207 carries. He threw for 1,516 yards with 22 TD's versus just 7 interceptions. Though he was clearly the best player in the 1A ranks, Kennedy was an Honorable Mention All-State pick. District 20-1A got things right, however, selecting Malcome as its Offensive Most Valuable Player.

As a junior, Malcome flashed the skills that earned him an Aggie offer, catching 47 passes for 763 yards and 10 TD's. Kennedy is a big-play wideout and explosive leaper who makes the acrobatic catch look routine. He knows how to use his strength and size to out-fight defenders for contested balls yet plays much smaller when working his way through traffic. He's very dangerous in space. While Malcome doesn't have game-breaking speed, he makes up for it with great routes, deceptive speed and the ability to out-muscle corners at the line.

Kennedy also started at safety at Cayuga, and it's a position he could play as an Aggie. At 6-1 and 190 pounds, Malcome is very instinctive and isn't afraid to run downhill and attack ball-carriers head on. He's also a ballhawk in the secondary, having picked off 13 passes as a junior and senior.
What They Are Saying
"I think Malcome's style is a great fit in the A&M offense. He's 6-0, 200 pounds and he's bench pressing 330 pounds. If you split him out wide, he can go up and get it. But he's also very shifty so if you put him in the slot, he can catch the ball in space and make people miss. There are lots of areas where A&M can move him to different spots and use him in the motion schemes, where they can hand him the ball. With what A&M does, and what Malcome does, he's just a perfect fit that can fall into many different areas." - Cayuga head coach Tommy Allison.

"Kennedy impressed with his high-point ball skills, timing and instincts as a junior playing defensive back and receiver. A prospect with the versatility to get looks on both sides of the ball." - ESPN recruiting analyst Gerry Hamilton.
