did we ever find out if gillispie personally come back to pack up his stuff w/ flightaware? or do we think that he paid someone? that'd be my guess!
If I had just signed(agreed to?) a contract worth 2.3 mil/year, no way I'd move my own stuff. This isn't surprising.
He just got into town. Give him awhile.
KFC was spotted eating lunch at Fazoli's (I threw up a little in my mouth) in Lexington today by several posters on Catspause who spoke with him and took pictures. I doubt he will come back to CS short of playing a ball game as an opposing teams coach.
Let me first say I hope he goes back and says goodbye (assuming he's going to accept our job). However, is it possible that going back and facing your old team could lead to an Altman-like 180 degree turn? Not saying it excuses coaches who don't tell their team or anything, just wondering if it's one possible effect.

The flight posted above shows he gets in at 9:07 p.m.

I know, that thread almost made me cry. I still maintain that CS is a great place to raise children, though. I kept myself from posting -- it's kind of their moment to get through the thing together. I couldn't imagine how I'd feel in their shoes.
I'm just glad that either way, the man has been handling this the correct way. It makes it much less painless for the losing party, you know?

Really do feel for their fans- seem like a classy group of folks (couple of less than stellar folks, but needless to say we're not innocent of that either) who really like their coach. I like what they are saying about him as a person- that will bode very well for him down here.
