lived in Lake Jackson my whole life
I lived in Victoria and Clute. Married a girl from Port Lavaca.
Point Comfort here (just across the bridge from Port Lavaca). Livin' under the soft glow of 1,000,000 light bulbs attached to the Formosa plant; and loving it.
Grew up in Corpus. Won't go back except to visit my parents now.

Grew up in Lake Jackson, but spent about half of my life waist deep in Matagorda and Christmas Bays....man I get depressed thinking about the fact that i'm 1500 miles from good fishing and duck hunting.

My mom moved from LJ to Angleton but my family ties to Lake Jackson (grandparents) have passed on in recent years.

I cried when I couldn't find a job after college and had to move home. I cried again when I was looking for a new job in the Chicagoland area and my dad mentioned that I could move back home and start over.
Not that it's a bad place...there's just nothing there for me nor anything I'd want to do.

.....but lived on Ocean Drive in Corpus for a year & a half.
Born and raised in Aransas Pass though I went to school in Port A (much better schools).
I used to want to move back to Port A but not now. Corpus keeps getting more like Laredo and Port A isnt the small fishing town it once was.
I probably will still have to come back to help my dad with his shell shop but I kinda hope that he sells it before he needs me to help him run it.

I didn't get back into TAMU until 2002 but once I did I spent a lot of time at those places.
