Tech beats number 4 Cal and now the sips win the Rose Bowl.

I swear I have never felt so beat up after a season since..... last year.

The Michigan coach was / is an idiot. he had 2 timeouts that he could have used and saved a minute and a half. He put the outcome of the game on the back of texas' kicker and he lost when the kicker delivered.

as evidenced by the Iowa game earlier today, he could have given his offense a chance to win the game.

booradley - texas continued to get first downs. He could not have effectively used the TO's.

It doesnt mean anything. They won their bowl and we lost ours. It sucks, but it doesnt indicate any kind of trend any more than one trading day on an exchage indicates how the next week is going to go.

Those of you who were rooting for the sips to win to "make the Big 12 look better" got your wish. Now sit there and take their crap for a year and enjoy it.

Sippers won because of Young. Whe he takes off, he gets up field - Unlike Reggie who has got into an annoying habit of stopping and trying to put on some type of move. Crap, use your speed Reggie and get it going north and south...

Frustrating.

bullpen - i disagree. texas was content with their field position and was using c-bong to position the ball in the middle of the field.

what did he gain by saving the TO's?

Was it just me, or does Michigan have the absolute slowest defense this side of Division III? Couple that with a loose zone in the 4th quarter that all but begged t.u. to run Vince, or play right into his ability as a passer.

Day from hell is a good description, but I'm still at a loss as to why we seem to always get our opponent's best game and t.u. almost always seems to get their opponent's worst.

All I have heard from teasip relatives is that t.u, went to the Rose BOwl to prove that they would be the first Texas team to win there. Do you know how arrogant that are but they said it and they did it. Unlike what we do.

Two Texas teams looked great during the bowl games and one looked like a train wreck. Incredible.

I was rooting against Texas, but in the end what does this change? Had they lost a squeaker they could still hold their heads high while we embarrassed ourselves. And even though I don't think it should be so, the fact remains that nothing will motivate improvement in the A&M program more than Texas having success.

Actually, tu has gotten their opponents' BEST games: Michigan was an underdog, as were Kansas and Arkansas, all of whom came within a play of winning.

It's just depressing to watch tu win.

It doesn't seem like our team was very motivated today, even though t.u. has had all the success in the world the last 6 years, especially over us.

t.u. got Colorado's best game? Mizzouri's? Tech's?

C'mon.

I can't stand the sips and it sucks that they won. Michigan had them, but they just got tentative at the end with VY.

Michigan's D line was in their backfield most of the game. I thought the did a good job and if they converted one of those field goals into a TD, they would of won.
