I realize you are new to the SEC, but you might want to do some research as Auburn is a storied SEC power. Don't get Auburn football confused with the anomaly of a team you played last year. As I said in another thread, A&M is a welcome addition the the SEC, but it seems like the fans don't really know much about the SEC or its history. Folks are just pissed about our D and wondering what might have been had we not been so green on that side of the ball this year. We've waited a very long time to be good and it looks like we have to be a little more patient as the young guys take some hard knocks and we stock up on depth.

Auburn won the NC 3 or 4 years ago. Wtf are you talking about OP?? Auburn is a good program.

Malzahn is a great coach, and has a great offensive scheme with average talent that buys into it. He has above average talent already.

But look at Tennessee this year too. They went from total suckage last year to nearly knocking off Georgia in an overtime game, then knocking off South Carolina.

What does this tell us? Up or down, the SEC attracts the best talent. It just takes the right coach to get the best of team they have.

The Auburn running game was phenomonal. Mason as well as Marshall could play on anyone's team. I would have enjoyed watching them run if they hadn't been doing to our guys.

Shame we didn't run the ball more.

We could have gone on some longer more time consuming drives to rest our D.

Auburn was well coached, very talented, they only lost to LSU on a rainy stormy night, what the heck is so embarrassing about getting beat by an excellent team? I look for them to go on and beat Alabama.

This is the SEC and we have to bring our A+ game to every contest or we'll get beat. I was very impressed by Auburn.

Couplandboy, if you guys had a solid D, no one would touch you this year. I expect it will just take time to develop what you have since it seems there is a lot of young guys on D. I am still amazed at your offense though. Evans was a total nightmare.

We don't even need a solid D. We run the table with an 85th ranked D. Sadly, we don't have even that.

Op is clueless. Auburn is LOADED with talent. Did you notice their D line against our run game? On paper, Based on recruiting, Auburn should have blown us out. We have guys that have outperformed their ratings. Manziel, Evans and Travis Labhart come to mind. Auburn has hosses who were under a terrible coach until this year.

Auburn, for the last 4 years, has had VERY good recruiting classes

They were ranked 24 or 25 before the game. They very well could be the #2 team in the SEC west this year. It's disappointing, but in no way embarrassing.
