Swope is down in New Orleans this week taking photos to represent Texas A&M if the Aggies win the EA Sports cover vote. He talked with Liucci and was hoping that we could get the word out that the photo shoot is going really well and that he would love to be able to represent A&M on the next NCAA Football game.

Here's a link to the NCAA Football Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/easportsncaafootball?id=90440037279

Here's a direct link to where you an vote for A&M: http://www.facebook.com/easportsncaafootball?id=90440037279&sk=app_502641839788741

A&M has some ground to make up on this deal. Michigan and Alabama each have nearly 40,000 votes, while the Aggies are in third place with about 18,000 votes. If you want to see Swope on the cover of the next NCAA Football game, vote often and help A&M bring home the prize.

Thanks guys!

Can you actually "vote often?" I voted once and when I go there now it shows that I've already voted.

Hmm...I thought you could for sure. It even says "keep voting" on the main voting page.

I believe if you keep clicking it it will keep voting but watch out because if you do it to often then will suspend you and you get a message like this.

From my understanding they count mentions across all social media platforms in relation to the vote. So post on their FB, twitter, makes comments that A&M should win, etc.

"In the coming week EA SPORTS will begin announcing the athletes which will be representing their respective schools on Facebook. Fans should check back daily as the biggest names in college football are unveiled, all in the hopes of securing the cover for their alma mater. Athlete-specific voting will begin on Monday, February 4th and continue until Monday, February 18th, at which point the field will be cut to four."...TOP 4 ADVANCE

And that margin shouldn't take long to make up if we do get to vote more than once

I think Swope is a great player but nationally this would be the most underwhelming cover athlete since Owen Schmitt was on the PSP cover of NCAA 09.
