Not sure where you're getting this but if that's the case, it may not have been injury but because they sensed he was going elsewhere. Maybe they couldn't stand everyone else seeing a top flight recruit picking A&M over them. Still doubting they pulled it though.

After the Perriloux fiasco the Texas staff has no time for kids that aren't committed to being at Texas. If they did, this frees up a scholarship for another kid that does want to come to Austin.
