For whatever it's worth, Aggie Athletics doesn't have us claiming a conf championship in either year. It says we were division champs in 97 and division co champs in 2010.

Got beat 54-15 in the 1997 big 12 title game and didn't play in the 2010 title game.

Ok just saw the other thread. All I can say Is wow.
How in the hell can you put on your stadium you won a conference title when you got beat by 39 points in the title game. And didn't even Play in the conference title Game the other year. That's embarrassing.
How would we feel if Kansas state had a " 1998 big 12 champs " sign on their stadium.

I don't see the problem. We were conference champions 20 times, whether it was SWC champions, Big 12 champions, or Big 12 south champions...we were still champions in the conference(s) 20 times.

Letting them play was the right decision.

The claiming of 2 conference titles that never happened is ridiculous. Somebody please remove that crap. What's wrong with Big 12 South champs/co-champs anyway?

They have a whole day to take them down. I really hope they do so before they embarrass us all even further. I've subcontracted sign installation. This can be done.

I'm actually pissed about this. Who is in charge of this? How in the world did it get approved? Somebody should be held responsible as it makes us all look bad.

Wow. I thought this was photo shopped when I first saw it as well. I'm not so sure this is going to 'impress' recruits as much as someone earlier on this thread suggested. Atleast not with a very good impression. Hope this gets worked out.

There's no getting this worked out. Sign company needs to be there NOW taking these down. They are eventually coming down anyway. The sooner this happens the less embarrassing it will be.
