Just drove past a "This is SEC Country" Billboard in north Austin on IH-35. It is on the north bound side just south of Tinseltown.
I was pleasantly surprised to see it there.

I had never noticed it until someone else pointed out in a different thread a while back, but that guys finger nails in that picture are so awful. Looks like an Appalachianer.

I saw the billboard, that is in Pflugerville, this evening on my way home and almost had a wreck doing a double-take. It sticks out like a "sore thumb" (as in "Gig 'em, Dammit!!) in the Austin area and looks great for those of us who yell for the maroon and white.
The good thing about its location is that there are some very successful high schools and high school athletes living nearby who will drive past and see the sign.
It is great to be in the SEC! Gig 'em!! :-)

My inlaws (wife's sister and her husband) who live in and are both big time longhorn fans (SFA grad and SWT dropout respectively of course) were complaining about that billboard on Facebook tonight. Lol.
