Dcbowers, I believe it is frowned upon, depending on which Wallgreens you go to to get the party pics developed. Or at least that's how it was when I was in school. Kids today probably have no idea what getting pictures "developed" means; they just post 'em straight to Facebook for the world to see.

I have never been more embarrassed of my school than tonight, the only reason i go to tech and not a&m, is that I wouldn't get accepted to a&m, although I would give my right arm to go to school there, tech is a hell hole and I wish I never left college station, the whole game tonight, I couldn't help but sing along with the Aggie War Hymn and the Spirit of Aggieland, I even did the yells along with the band. Hopefully one day I'll get the opportunity to go to Texas A&M, pray for me, Thanks & Gig 'em

I was 8 rows behind the band at the game... Saw 1 battery... Hit a guy right in the head though.

Lots of water bottles, drink cups, and (obviously) tortillas...

They throw whiskey bottles in SEC. If lucky a little will remain to soothe the hurt.

Lubbock ranks No. 6 on Forbes list of dangerous cities

Lubbock ranked as the sixth most dangerous city in the country, according to a Forbes Magazine list released this week.

Lubbock ranked as the sixth most dangerous city in the country, according to a Forbes Magazine list released this week.

The list ranked metropolitan statistical areas in the country with populations greater than 200,000, using data from the 2010 FBI Uniform Crime Report, according to the article.

Lubbock made No. 6 with 808 violent crimes per 100,000 residents in 2010. Detroit and Memphis, Tenn., topped the list with 1,111 and 1,006 violent crimes per 100,000 residents, respectively.

The article based its findings on data gathered from the FBI in four categories of violent crimes: murder and non-negligent manslaughter; forcible rape; robbery; and aggravated assault.

Lubbock police Chief Roger Ellis said the numbers Forbes used appear accurate, but believes the data could be misleading because Lubbock’s department potentially provides the FBI with more information than other departments.

Ellis said his department opts to report all violent crimes officers respond to while some departments choose only to report those violent crimes that are taken to court with filed charges. He said the FBI does not have specific standards mandating how departments report their violent crimes.

“But we’ve always just reported the numbers as they come in,” he said. “If we take a report on a violent crime, we include it.”

Violent crimes

According to the FBI’s crime report, “The FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting Program collects offenses that come to the attention of law enforcement for violent crime and property crime, as well as data regarding clearances of these offenses.”

Ellis said Lubbock’s relatively high number of aggravated assaults likely put the Hub City on the Forbes list.

The culture at Texas A&M is to welcome visiting fans and teams and to beat the hell outta them on the field.

The culture at Texas Tech is to try to intimidate visiting fans and teams to help their team get a psychological advantage.

Florida:

I heard the crowd boo an aggie with a dislocated elbow.

Nice. You act like the Aggie tried to injure him. Honestly? Enjoy the Big Bevo conference, were outta here.

I'm sure Florida was too wasted to see anything. Don't act like your fans are not trash.

Typical classless Tceh fans..how about the vandalized buses, booing injured players, even their coaches getting in on the act. Not to mention the cheap shots on Fuller and Tannehill.

Worst roadie in the Big 12.

Good question. Probably refers to consensual, statutory. That city is a disgrace. Comparing all that happen to a play on the field which may or may not have been a cheap shot is as disgusting as the behavior of the idiots who vandalized or threw stuff.

Yes Florida, you are one of em. And a fool. However, no need for you to hang around in the football forum any longer. We aren't in your conference and will likely never see your asses again. You're some else's problem.

NO idea why Pac12 wouldn't want you Tard.

The Ref standing right in front of the play disagreed with you.
