Not sure, but there looks to be some storms approaching Oklahoma City from the NW.

Bobby wanted to see how long it would take to go from one side of his house to the other.

If not--assuming they're not secretly leaving, too--I'd say probably not football-related, at all.

OU flies their big dogs around in an old twin engine Beech? Wow.

I hope Loftin rates a Lear in Aggieland. Especially if we are headed to the SEC now.

If you had a pick of the call numbers, you could probably track it down to the Owner.

Could OU be strong-arming us to stay since they, presumably, cannot leave without oSu?

2 possibilities:

1) MAJOR concessionary offer from the Big 12, IE no more LHN at all because we are kicking tu out of the conference, Big 12 network, equal revenue sharing etc

or (far more likely)

2) So....if you guys are leaving, when are you going so we can all leave at once and not pay a dime (because if OU is leaving, you can bet they have OSU in tow and maybe even Tech as well)

I suspect they have delivered their conditions for surrender of the 2010 Big12 Title.

With that POS plane? Someone's kids are starting college or somewhat.

It is strange that the plane got such a late start for that much travel.

Even stranger is that they went back to the OU airport.

And a curious part is that they were at MU and A&M for such a short period of time.

Where is AggieGrant when you need him ?????

Isn't "A&M1" a Gulfstream? If so, I would assume that OU's counterpart is on a par with that. This photo looks like some big cigar OU lawyer alum came to town to get his daughter set up for the Fall semester here. Or something ...

After flying from OU to Missouri back to OU and then down here all in one day. Doubtful.

Yeah, the whole return trip to Norman before going to CS is very strange. Maybe they picked up an additional party to fly to CS? I highly doubt that that it is some bigwig. Why would a bigwig do all that flying. This had to be university officials.

IMO it's one of two things:

1) OU and MU are going SEC too.

2) OU and MU were given the task of delivering the Exit Papers to Loftin. No way in **** tu would be there if the meeting were to remain respectful.

Aggies are paying the exit fees in waffles, orange coolers, and freebird's.

Or a pilot logging time. Seriously, a Beech Baron for all of that flying in the midwest in late summer. Pretty miserable flying I must say.

The outfit I just retired from is based at Max Westheimer Airport. I drove by the ramp where the ou planes are parked twice a day for 15 years. I just sat down at my PC after dinner and saw the picture of the plane.

I was going to post about it, but several of you beat me to it. OU has a flying school at MW. It looks like one of the planes they use for multi-engine flight instruction.

They have several airplanes on call that are a lot bigger/faster/plusher than that one.

FWIW - 15 years ago they had several Aero Commanders in their fleet. OU's chief pilot at that time was an old friend of mine from my AF days.

The SEC has jets, and you are telling me OU fly's a prop

I really believe the other BIG XII conference members have reached their breaking point and are looking for new homes. I think there are a lot of back door secret meetings and phone calls being placed. If MIZZOU & OU walk away it is over and the last nail in the coffin for the conference.

Since we're all a bunch of internitwits, my SWAGuess is MU and OU legal team working on details to avoid exit penalties for each of the parties involved????

I told my Mizzou husband about this, who in turn told the guy who runs PowerMizzou (their legit board, not that c*ap TigerBoard), and he called the guy who runs OU's board. OU guy was surprised also. He is looking into it. He might just be out of the loop, or it could be an instructional flight with a very coincidental flight path.

When I was in school we had two King Airs. To the best of my knowledge the university didn't own a jet.

It's heading back to Columbia now.
