Running the table in the Mountain West, and beating a team from the Big Ten by 2 doesn't impress me. TCU getting any credit for being a good team shows that college football needs a playoff.

Wisconsin is a good team. And so is TCU. I think A&M/TCU would be a good game, but to say we would kill them is kind of delusional.

Wisky rolled Ohio State who was #1 at the time. When we rolled OU when they were #1, were they overrated or was it a fluke?

Iowa beat Mizzou who beat the crap out of us. Wisky beat Iowa. I know we changed QB's, but it's not like we replaced the defense who was burned for 400+ yeards.

mizzou didn't even win the north over nu. If we play mizzou one week later we beat them.

I guess you missed New Year's Day too. The big 10 was getting smashed by the SEC like it was comic book story.

I am not impressed by tcu or bsu on BCS level but I do think they are good teams. Let them play the schedule we played and win 9 games while making a QB switch then they can get props from me.

How can you down play a win against a team that is #1 in the nation in rushing yards? I don't understand how you can take credit away from TCU's win. They settled in on defense and stopped a very strong Wisconsin team that would have went un defeated in the big 12 this year. No doubt.....

The only Big 12 team that has looked all that good so far is OSU. OU and Tech gave up quite a few points in their wins. Four Big 12 teams lost.

This TCU team would have done fine in the Big 12 this year.

No. TCU is result of the schedule they play and nothing more.

A&M would kill Oregon. Their PAC 10 scheule is weak.

I don't give a sh t what you've presented there... The post stated A&M would "kill" TCU. We would not, that's all there is to it. We may come out with a win, but to "kill" them is more than far fetched. Wake up, we lost by 20 something points at home to a bad Mizzou team. Say what you will about turnovers and what not, we still lost 3 games at the end of the day. Wasn't like we went un defeated all year topping things off with a win in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl. TCU would be the best team in the conference had they played in the Big12 this year. I know it get's everyone's feathers ruffled, but the conference was a whole underperformed this year outside of a resurgent A&M. What they have doen not only this season but consistently year in and year out - they are for real with a team full of senior players that have been together for some time now.

So lemme get a list of your predictions thus far.

TCU would beat Cam Newton.
TCU would beat Oregon.
Wisconsin would beat 5 top 25 teams(OU, OSU, Mizzou, A&M, Nebraska).

As far as Wisconsin being number 1 in rushing yards? A stat you are using to proclaim them to be some offensive powerhouse? They are actually 12th in rushing yards. Averaging 245.7 yards per game. As well as being 75th in passing yards average under 200 yards per game passing.


If you throw out the Austin Peay's of the world and get down to how Wisconsin played against real teams, they obviously weren't the powerhouse you make them seem.

Against ranked teams:

Wisconsin averaged

166 yards passing and 144 yards rushing.

Horrible. Congrats TCU. That's a team you beat by 2.

yep. I, and many others, expectced wisconsin to be able to ram the ball down TCU's throat, and the game started out that way but then TCU buckled down and held wisconsin to 9 points in the final 3 quarters.

That was a very impressive win by TCU - it wasn;t a shootout ala boise/ou where they just tried to score with them; rather, TCU shut down a really good offense that was averaging over 40 points a game.

even the biggest skeptics haver to give tcu some credit.

Seeing as Tim DeRuyter held both Nebraska and OU to their season low in scoring. Tim DeRuyter would do just fine in making halftime adjustments.
