I don't think Texans fans hate the Dallas Cowboys as much as they hate Dallas Cowboys fans. Couldn't have been a more arrogant, entitled bunch in sports. It has been a joy to watch them suffer the last decade.

i hate dallas as a city (ugly/boring/not much personality) and a lot of the people up there suck. i really hate jerry jones and think romo is a p*ssy. this is not my superbowl but i want to beat that azz. dallas is a boring sh*thole filled with pretentious d-bags.

I don't know which Cowboys fans you are talking about. Any attention I've ever given to Houston sports has been reactionary.

It seems like Houston fans have gotten themselves so wound up about Dallas fans by talking to each other about Dallas fans. Aside from the dumbest homers on Texags, Dallas fans are pretty realistic about our team.

You do realize that even though its been a rough stretch for the Cowboys, Dallas has had an infinite amount of success compared to the Texans since 2002 right? Does this mean that Texans fans are borderline suicidal due to the suffering they have had to endure?

The Texans haven't been around that long. And I see/hear many, many more anti-Cowboys comments than anti-Texans comments, and have for the last couple years. Not sure what Houston's deal is, but any time Dallas loses a game or looks bad they are all over it.

As a lifelong Dallas area resident, absolutely no Cowboy fan I know gives a **** about the Texans - good or bad. Some actually root for them.

A long history of success breeds high expectations. Houston has never had much success in the NFL so their fans dont expect much from them.

from everyone, cowboy fans included. don't kid yourself that these are some sort of cowboy fan only dogpiles. i've seen you join in on plenty, and there are a # of texan fans out here that are all too eager to dogpile on the game threads when something it's going south for Dallas.

Who else is going to get dogpiled? There are like three Saints fans. The Texans have never had enough talent for a playoff run.

The Texans gave everyone a lot of ammunition last year, but it went largely unmolested (because Dallas fans are such d-bags). They had the talent to get it done, and they Chris/Kris Browned their way out of the post-season.

I cannot stand anything, ANYTHING out of that stinking, mosquito infested city of Houston. People in Houston have always had a hge inferiority complex, and not just in football. And FWIW, I am not a Cowboys fan but I hope they beat Houston in a big way this weekend.

why is it being arrogant? give me some reasons I should dislike the Texans. they don't play in the same conference, they don't play each other but every 4-5 years so there really is no history, they've never played each other for anything meaningful, they don't compete for the same recruits like in CFB, I don't happen to work with or hang around any Texan fans (at least not regularly). why should any dallas resident Cowboy fan really feel much differently about the Texans than any other AFC team?

now pardon me while I go try to work up a hate for the KC Chiefs or some team like that.

I think it is funny how many "Texan" fans have come out of the woodwork all of a sudden because of one good win and one hard won game against a crappy team.

I lived in Houston since the Texans played their first game and I have never seen any die hard Texan fans. Now, since they beat Indy and Dallas lost in week one, I can not even count the number of Facebook statuses talking about how awesome the Texans are and how much Dallas sucks.

The two teams are not rivals at all except to Houstonians. The Texans are my number two team and I was about the biggest Texan fan I knew there. From my experience, there are more anti-Cowboy fans as there are pro Texan fans.

Considering the Texans have sold out every game ever, I don't think the Texans fans have just come out of the woodwork. They've been a big topic as long as I've lived here.

They may have sold out their games, but they were not a topic of discussion on Monday mornings like the Cowboys are. Their fans were not passionate about them unless they were playing Dallas.

That may not be true universally, but that is my experience. (Football) People I never had one meaningful conversation about the Texans with before, suddenly started updating their facebook page every day. Heck, I even used to try and talk Texans football with lots of people, but they were never very interested. I went to BWW in the Rice Village for the season opener last year and there were more people watching/cheering about the Cowboys/Bucs game then the Texans/Jets game.

That is what I mean when I talk about them coming out of the woodwork.

Groosome, maybe people haven't been super eager to talk about the Texans with you as they haven't been a very successful team in their first years...much like the cowboys. Or maybe you're just a pr*ck. One thing is for sure, that you are dishonest. There are a lot of die hard fans in this city.

Swamp? Have you ever been to Houston? I seriously can't think of one way Houston is inferior to Dallas, so any help would be appreciated. Worse traffic maybe.
