I predict a high scoring game and a 4 hour plus game.

Before the season, CU had high expectations, but their team has given up. They have a horrible defense and I believe that we will be able to move at will and JJ should put up 400+ yards. A&M has twice the talent they do and i think it will finally show on the field this weekend.

I think their offense is bad but our defense will boost their confidence.

We make any opposing offense look good. That being said, our offense is looking very good, too. I think we win a shootout as well.

who is K State? thats not that big of a deal. and that was back when their team gave a fight.

The Ags have been improving every week and about to blow someone out, either CU or Baylor, I just think its going to be this weekend.

KState ripped through our defense like a hot knife through butter.I'm not saying they are great but they can score points against bad defenses and they couldn't against CU's defense.

I have the utmost respect for Texas A&M and their fans. You have the best fans in the Big 12 and many of the best traditions.

As for the game Saturday, I think the Buffs will surprise the Aggies with a hard fought 38-34 win.

You have a fine young QB who has been the catalyst for your resurgent offense. He is a serious concern and may well prove to be the difference in the game.

I believe, however, that the Buffs will re-emphasize the running game with two fine freshmen RB's behind a patchwork OL that will do just enough to win. Our QB's admittedly have their problems and our receivers have dropped too many passes in recent weeks. The running game is our best chance for success against a run defense that may prove to be the achilles heel for the Aggies.

Our defense has played reasonably well most of the time with strong performances against West Virginia and K-State. If the defense can play up to it's potential, the Buffs have a decent chance.

The Buffs are 2 years away from returning to a competitive position in the Big 12. I look forward to better times for both the Aggies and Buffs when future games will have more luster.

I won't predict a score, but I'm feeling pretty confident both teams are going to leave Kyle Field with a 4 and 5 record.

Kudos to WR Buff for a well put and respectful post on texags. I'll have to disagree though about his prediction and say Ags win 35-24. Main focus for AGs is stopping the run.

CU is making a mistake if they don't attack the A&M secondary and exploit the lack of a pass rush. Going 1-dimensional helps a bad defense.

I think the ISU win will satisfy quite a few in this program and the buffs usually bring a good effort vs. the Ags.

I'm thinking another really high scoring effort on both sidelines...

49-35 Ags. Ags will get 500+ yards (400+ air, 100+ ground).

I predict that we'll lose this game due to any of the following reasons:

1) Hawkins rips into players, takes names and logos off uniforms and they are motivated to come in and kill us

2) Starting CU QB gets hurt, little known backup plays like he's the second coming of Dan Marino/John Elway/Joe Montana.

3) Controversial call by refs turns the momentum of the game towards CU

4) Rainstorm comes out of nowhere right before the start of the game rendering our passing game useless

That's the few reasons I can think off that have sunk our chances against this team.

Colorado usually plays well vs the Ags especially at Kyle field

since start of Big 12 play we are 1-2 vs the Buffs at Kyle including an ugly loss in 2000 and a miracle win in 2004

Ags need this game.

It may be 2000 revisited (but better weather) and do think CU will run all over our D and control the clock (our D can't get off the field). CU actually has a smidgen more to play for as they are much closer to bowl eligibility and this is one of the remaining must win games for them (that's possible for them to win).

By the way, did anyone go to the game vs CU in 2000 at Kyle. Well, while I was there on that cold, rainy, miserable day, I could have sworn that Barnett did have the buffalo decals removed from their helments for that game. Cessna's article says it was only a threat and didn't happen.

Does anyone else have a better memory or pic from that game? While I was there, I tend to stuff bad games out of my memory banks (but there have been so many lately, it's hard to keep them all straight).

Whoever turns it over less and has the ball last will win. It won't be as high scoring as many people think. CU will control the ball on the ground and have longer scoring drives. We'll score a bit, but it'll come down to turnovers and stupid penalties.
