If the rumors are true and we have the "consultant". This consultant was used to hire some of these big names. Off the record they can express if they have any interest.

Why aim so low? I think we should hire God as our new HC. He could just strike down our opponents and bring 'miracles' to our program like a Wrecking Crew defense, vertical passing game, and turn our water into wine (or beer if you prefer) for the celebration after the game.

It would take maybe a 5 million per year offer from A&M (which we couldn't afford) for him to even look our way, plus he would all of a sudden decide to leave the media-darling SEC conference for a tarnished Big XII, televised Fla games practically every week on national TV, and a whole state full of people who worship the ground he walks on.......
.....to come to College Station and rebuild from the ashes of demoralized destruction and a disgruntled fan base with enormous expectations........

those of you laughing at this suggestion.....what harm does it do to put a feeler out there or make a phone call?
you never know whats going through someones head until you ask them. i cant stand this defeatist attitude some of you have regarding our program. if it was up to you, we'd make our first phone call Art Briles or Mike Sherman and then work our way down. pathetic.
