I asked how things were going and she said they were getting ready to head to College Station this weekend then Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas next week. Then she said something I wasn't expecting...that she felt like Dalton was leaning towards A&M.

Now all that said, I still don't feel like he will fully commit this weekend. He's a kid and could easily be swayed by a harder pitch by one of the SEC programs. However, with this new info I will be less surprised if he does wind up jumping at an Aggie offer.

Time with such a trophy winner as Dat this weekend would either get that commit or he is gone to the SEC. One of those 3 will bs their way into pulling him in if Dat is not able open his eyes to what he can teach him at A&M that will set him up for a pro career. I'm betting on Dat's intelligence myself.

Anymore Santos News? Kid down the road here is attend the camp this weekend as well. I told him to look for Santos when he has time. So he called me up and said he thinks he saw him and heard him say he has been working out and is up to around 260 lbs......? If in fact it was Dalton Santos, who knows.

Looks to me like a guy that's about as big as he's going to get. A 6'3'' 245lbs ILB manbeast who can palm a medicine ball is what I see

Dalton reminds me of Tech's Zach Thomas, who along with becoming an AA and a 14+ yr veteran in the NFL was an Aggie-hopes assassin. That late INT he made in the mid-90s against Corey Pulig still sucker punches me when I think about it.

If Dalton is anything like Zach Thomas, I'll take him in a heartbeat!

I see Jay Mohr...
I would post a pic of Mohr side-by-side with the picture of Santos with the black cap and shirt (was on TexAgs home page for a while) if I knew how... It's like their mother took them to the gym with her and left with Mohr, but left Santos behind (in the free weights section).

Was talking with a guy who coached at Van a couple years ago last night. Reiterated what most have been saying. Either A&M or BAMA. Sounds like he's enamored by Bama but would likes it at A&M and likes that he's close to his fam. Just what I took from a quick convo.

No, he was camping at Tennessee midweek and then Bama this weekend. If we can make it through then without him committing, I think we should be the favorites. As of now it's 50/50 in my mind. The school he eliminated would have to be Tennessee
