7. 11-5 curve ball lacks consistency; some have late break
8. Curve is not overly sharp; quality of the break seems to look almost lazy at times

4. 11-5 breaking ball is a bit slow but features steep break and good depth that seems to creep further and further away from RH batter
5. Curve ball showing sharper, later break as the inning progresses; some two-plane break to the pitch
6. Curve is a swing and miss pitch; threw 4 consecutive that resulted in empty swings
7. Very effective as a chase pitch even if it was on the slow side
8. Around the zone and getting hitters to chase offerings out of it; was not really controlling his stuff and showed little if any command
9. Athleticism plays well; gets off the mound very quickly to field his position

6. Pounds bottom of zone with fastball
7. Controlled his stuff but command was mediocre at best

1. Tall & lanky with thin arms & very thin legs; projectable
2. Slow, fairly smooth delivery with a high leg kick; 3/4 arm slot; arm action could be smoother
3. Average fastball has some late sink and run
4. Fastball comes out of his hand well; showed more life later in the outing
5. Sharp 2-8 slider with late break; good tilt
6. Slider does not have a ton of depth; started to lose sharpness in the 4th inning
7. Changeup has good dead action with drop and some fade
8. Moving pitches around the zone but lacked the command to really pull it off
9. In the 4th inning, he was losing his release point; command non-existent at that point

1. Average height; decently well filled out, body not overly conducive to much projection; long arms
3/4 armslot; low effort delivery; arm action is a bit cut off on back side
2. Fastball features some arm side run; lacks elite velocity: 89, 89 in the first, 91 in the second; 90, 88 in the third; 87 in the fourth (via announcer)
3. Hitters put good swings on fastball for the most part
4. Changeup has steady drop and some fade; good action
5. Throws change with good arm speed; fooled a number of hitters with the pitch; swing and miss ability
6. 12-5 curve ball has decent shape; not a power pitch; tends to break a bit early
7. Threw one very sharp breaking ball to Diekroeger low and away in the 5th inning; surprisingly sharp given his previous offerings in the game
8. Stanford hitters able to recognize pitch for the most part
9. Strike thrower but mediocre at best command
10. Hung a number of breaking balls, including against the first batter he faced (Jake Stewart) that was deposited over the LCF fence
