Love the one of the Eagles coach in the dugout looking forlorn. And I know it's real, but Petri looks Photoshopped in! And the ump's dance.

What I really want to do, is print out that one of the Eagles player with the mustache (Chas?) and see if I can get him to sign it tomorrow. I'm probably too chicken to do it... but I think that would be great.

There is some funny stuff going on in these. That dude flipping, did he get an ovation from the crowd? That is great. And what is up with this shot?

The guy to the left orchestrated the fake mustaches we used to taunt #5 for Winthrop, Chaz. I noticed that we had our own fan with a fantastic mustache and pointed it out to him. he went up to deliver a fake mustache to our very own mustache guy.

That was that dude's real stache?!?! That is great!

If I remember right he uses a XTi with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

Close, it's an XTi body, with the 70-200mm F/4 lens

Either way I know I'd love to have one. I just can't justify dropping 1K on glass. Heck I won't buy rifle scopes for less, not going to splurge on something I don't completely need.

I paid $600 for mine new, though the 2.8 version is well above $1,000. I could barely justify the 4 myself.

B&H has the f/4 variant for a little more than $600.

That COULD be doable if I had an actual job/career right now, but as I don't graduate until May... that won't be happening for awhile.

I'm just not wild about shooting at f/4, particularly at night at poorly lit stadiums. I'd love to be able to afford the f/2.8.

OK, I actually did it! And Chas was really cool about it. He looked at the photo for a few seconds, then burst out laughing. And he showed a friend passing by, who also started laughing. So thanks, Chas!



Interesting... the official roster says "Chas," but it looks like he spells it with a 'z'.

First photo I printed with my new (well... one-year-old) printer. I was really impressed with the quality.
