Hey, I just want to tell the aggie fans on this board that I'm sorry about that loss to UCLA, I watched the game up here and that was a rough game. You guys are definitely a good team, but will work out the kinks throughout the year.

I know that Fordham is probably a team you guys were like, who the hell are they? All I have to say is don't overlook us. We played two horrible games to both Tennessee and Maryland, with almost 30 turnovers against Tennessee and shooting 30% against Maryland. And in both of those games we held our own. (Lost to Tenn by 7 was down by 2 with 1:30 left, lost to Maryland by 20, but was down by 6 at half, and let's just say that was our worst half of the year). You guys should handle us well, I'm just saying that we could definitely give you guys a run if we play like we do on a normal game.

People for you aggie fans to watch for:
Bryant Dunston - 1st team A10 basically is a beast down low averages 4 blocks and a double double every game. Should be neutralized slightly with A&M's size.

Marcus Stout - Traditional spot up shooter. The team comes and goes with his shooting. A threat from 3, as well as with a man in his face. Plays good defense as well.

Sebastian Greene - Started last 4 games and is the heart of the team. He is 6'9, but has the speed of a track runner (he was recruited for both) and a wingspan over 7'. He does anything the team needs, shoots 3's, rebounds, defends in both the half court and the press. He was covering James Lofton (All SEC shooting guard) for most of the game which says alot about his agility. He's picked up about 15 per game since he started and can fly high for a motivating dunk.

Alot of the other guys are role players. The best bench guy is Brenton Butler, a freshman who averages double digits and is a guy that takes the game over.

I will say one thing - Fordham's timing of this game could not be any worse. Billy will have the boys fired up and out for blood after 2 straight road Ls.

Pretty sure our front line has the ability to do more than neutralize Duncan.

Fordham only has 1 player over 6'9" (Devine) and he barely plays.

So we are looking to contain Duncan (6'8) and Green (6'8) with Jones (6'9), AK (6'10), Pompey (6'8), Elonu (6'10), and Davis (6'9).

I like our chances there.

I have thought the Fordham game would be a tough game. It really depends on how our guys bounce back from the two road losses. We played pretty good against UCLA so that should give us some confidence, but a loss is still a loss and could negatively impact our performance. If we come out slow, it could be a real close game.

How long has Fordham been in the A-10? I spent a couple years at UMass and watched a lot of games in the Mullins center, but for the life of me I can't remember them ever playing Fordham.

Superdales, it's Dunston and Greene not Duncan and Green. Don't forget big Mike Binns who can be a monster when he so chooses. I can guarantee you will know the name Bryant Dunston after this one.

MassAg, I believe it was in 1995-96. We've just sucked so hard (especially under Boob Hill) that no one bothered to notice until recently.

I have thought this would be our worst game of the year since the beginning of the season. My thoughts on the matter are beginning to change since our win by 17 on the road against Penn and when you factor in the fact that our players have only one more chance for that "Big win" OOC after dropping them to UMD and Tenn. Our Rams will want this one and Whittenberg will have us fired up I can guarantee so the ball will most likely be in your court (NPI.)

I dont like to rain on parades, but we are coming off a week with two losses on the road to top ten teams, and we aren't exactly Penn. Im not writing this off as an easy win by any means, but I have a feeling the Ags are gonna come out looking for blood.

Wow. I forgot that Bob Hill had landed there eventually. I was rather surprised when he was fired as the Spurs head guy, but he's done jack squat since then, and Popavich and the Spurs have won 3 titles, so it goes to show you how much I know.

By the way- count me in the group that doesn't think Fordham has a snowball's chance in Brownsville tomorrow, but I've been surprised before. I just think, as others have noted, that after their 2 tough losses this last week, the Aggies are chomping at the bit to get back on the court.
Had Fordham come into Reed 3 years ago, I'd say they would have had about a 50% chance. Tomorrow, I'm putting it somewhere around 5%.

I didn't say anything about a good chance of victory...if there is one thing i understand...it's reality. We are a good team, still growing (almost all main players are juniors) but do have the potential to scare a&m a bit.

I do agree this is the worst timing to play a&M (we played maryland the day after they lost to Notre Dame too), but we are going to come out hungry.

First, I know all about the two tough losses and it scares me. Just saying that we have our reasons to play hard as well where as, had we won against either Tenn or UMD, they might not want it so badly.

Three would make me happy. Davis, Barone and Watkins. Anything pre-Gillispie and post-Metcalf.

Lets not kid ourselves here. While our team might be upset over these two losses, they are probably also pretty tired from their schedule. The best thing we have working for us in this game is depth, which we didnt have last year. Fordham is a pretty consistently good team, thanks to you Rams for coming over to talk with us. Hopefully it will be a good game.

No offense to Fordham fans, but the Rams will have trouble scoring. They shoot 40% from the field which is somewhere in the mid 200s. Meanwhile A&M has one of the top 5 defenses in the nation. I don't expect this one to be very close.

Welcome Fordham fans. Please don't take tomorrow night's beating too personally.

Fordham will keep themselves in the game if they can shoot the 3 well, keep Acie out of the paint, and deny the ball to Joe and Antanas. However, the stars probably have lined up for this to be a Fordham loss, but if this were following a UCLA win, I might actually be more worried because of a post-big-win hangover, a la Kansas.

I see a tight game until the Ags take over mid 2nd half for a 18-20 point victory.

By the way, the game that scares me to death (other than the next game on the schedule each time) is Winthrop. The students aren't back...it is not a "name" draw for a big non-conf draw but they can play ball. Also, Auburn on the road should be a "W" but we may have to scratch and claw on the road against an SEC opponent.

Kirk locks down their perimeter threat, and their lack of size inside will be exploited. I promise Fordham hasn't seen a defense like ours yet.
