Actually, that's true and ditto for fatinator.

The fact is, the team plays better when he's in the lineup. Everybody's play seems to improve.

i love Beau, but he is a defensive liability an makes stupid fouls. He reminds me of a better shooting version of Chris walker. I loved CW, but he couldn't hit a barn. Beau is a better shooter and slasher, and he is very gritty. I admire his toughness and determination, and other than Dkirk, no one else seems to have his mental toughness on the floor. I say play him 25-28 mins, but don't even think about starting him over carter or even keeping him in for 40 mins. Thats a crazy idea.

Some white guy lit us up for 30 points on time in high school. At first, we just laughed and thought that we'd stop him all day, because i had that mindset. He kept on dunking on everyone, and easily slashed through the lane. My mindset totally changed after that game. He turned out to get a scholarship from a major school.

I agree he makes stops, but he gets murdered by a quick jumpshooter or a guy who can create, like Brandon Rush. I think you are crazy to even think that i am biased against white guys in basketball. I would never be against someone doing anything because of his race, that is foolish at best.

Beau did bring energy to the court that we needed today.

Brandon Rush is one of THE best players in the country. Not being able to shut him down is not an embarrasing performance. How many guys shut down Beasley or Durant? You contain guys like that ... you don't STOP them.

is arguing with you like arguing with a wall? i am saying he makes his stops, but got killed by rush. He will see that same competition over and over in the tournament. He is good, i never said he wasn't. He brings energy, toughness, grittiness, etc to our team when we need it. I like that. You need to stop trying to create a bias that isn't there.

maybe Josh would respond to coming off the bench vs starting... wouldn't hurt to try it. i sure like the energy Beau brings to the team. you see the way he cut off that screen - set himself and popped that 3 today? who else does that for the Ags?

Beau has to shoot more when he is open. He gets the ball swung to him with an open shot and he pump fakes takes a dribble in and passes up another open shot and passes it off. We do not have a go to guy and we can not afford to pass up shots. We did it a lot today and Beau was the worst at passing up shots until the end.

Passing up early shots in the shot clock is not a bad thing. The main reason A&M played so well today and stayed in the game was because they kept pounding inside. Mulbach is a smart player and didn't jack the first open look he got. Smart teams work the offense and know that an open three will come again later in the possesssion if they keep running the offense.

starting guards should be beau, kirk, and d row

Beau and Davis and maybe Kirk are the few guys who haven't been disappointing to me this year.

We've got to have Beau on the court because he hustles his butt off, he actually drives the ball better than Carter or Kirk, and generally speaking seems to be at least one person attempting to run some kind of offense.

Oh - and Rush killed anyone who was trying to guard him today. Carter is not as good defensively as Beau. Rush is a good player and the entire team needs to play better defense. Our rotations were pitifully slow tonight (see KU's last possession).

I agree with a lot that Yankee has to say, other than the part about the defensive liability. I think Muhlbach knows what he is doing on defense, he is just doesn't have the quickness to get to the spot. He plays great team defense, i.e. making up for other players not doing their jobs.

I vividly remember him rotating too late in the Iowa State game and getting "and-1ed." He was doing the right thing, he just wasn't fast enough.

With that said, I still think that he should play 25-30 minutes a game. He seems to play with a lot of confidence for not getting a lot of playing time throughout the season.

I like him. may not be the best player on the court but he is a winner.
