Saw my young cousin, a recent high school graduate, at a family reunion. He was torn because he was accepted at both A&M and Texas Tech.

My Aggie uncle immediately started reeling off all of the "advantages" of going to A&M: Aggie network, US College News and Rankings, etc. etc. etc.

My cousin turned to me.

I said: "Two words. Scoreboard."

That did it. My cousin will be a Red Raider this fall and have his Guns Up!

Side note: Since A&M is supposedly "superior" to Tech academically, why was my cousin accepted to both schools? Makes you wonder...

Since he made a decision based on that, then I'd say he made the right one.

Tell him to make sure however that it's very important to have an even distribution of sauce and cheese (FIFY protected), and to leave about an inch of crust at the ends.

Tard High vs Texas A&M University...yeah, real tough choice.

Btw, A&M is superior to tard, but that doesn't mean it's possible to get into both. Simply be top 10% in your graduating class in a public high school and Texas and you can be an AG, sip or tard.

But alas, if he's dumb enough to chose a college based off of a football game, then he belongs at tard.

This argument would make sense if he got into A&M, but was turned down by Tech. Of course the inferior school is going to accept all the students that get into the superior school. But the superior school doesn't accept all the students that get into the inferior school.

Also, if one is accepted to a top school, they most likely will be accepted to the lower school. The reverse is not necessarily true. Obviously the TASP test does not have a logic component.
