I admit it. I obsess over tu. if an aggie win rates a 10, a tu loss rates at least an 8. As such, I watch a lot of their games. My bias makes me mad every time I see them get bailed out, but I was curious if they get more ref love or is it just my bias. For giggles, I'll list the ones I remember. If others post legitimate examples I will edit my post and add them. Sips can play too. Let's keep it to this millineum and drives that determine the outcome of the game.

2012 Ok State - possible fumble called as TD, tu wins
2011 A&M - PF called on rediculous helmet to helmet contact, tu wins
2009? Neb - McCoy throws away ball as time expires. Call reviewed and 1 sec added to clock, tu kicks FG and wins
200? Some directional school - directional school, down by less than TD, successfully recovered onside kick, called for too many men on one side of the ball, video shows otherwise but reviews haven't started then, tu recovers the subsequent attempt, tu wins
2005? Kansas - radio's knee touches in an apparent sack, not called down, gets some yards, tu wins

Calls that go against tu

None that I can remember

Calls against
2011 KSU
-called for Halo penalty when we didn't get within two yards of him when the guy muffed the punt
-receiver catches the ball out of bounds and they call it inbounds and it's not reviewed because it was within two minutes of the half
-BS PI call when Diggs didn't even touch the receiver

Not sure about your little directional school bit
2004 (didn't play them in 2005 edit: whoops, we did and beat them 66-14 at home, my bad) KU we had a close game but there was no call that you're talking about
2009 Neb if you watch the replay, the ball hits the ground with a second left
2012 OSU what about the chop blocks that sprung 3 big plays, or the fact that our DE's couldn't get off the tackles because they were grabbing all jersey and holding on, or the guy who grabbed Malcolm Brown's ankle in the pile and gave it a twist to take him out of the game. Oh ya, and what about the ball that definitely touched the returner but they ended up getting the ball at the 35 instead of the 17

And while the call wasn't great this past year (it was helmet to helmet but probably not a penalty) all yall had to do was STOP CASE MCCOY from running 30 yards down the field. He's the slowest QB we've had in over a decade.

I think you are underestimating the powers of UT. Every game they have won in the last 20 years was given to them by the refs. The only losses were when they ran out of time and the jackass clock manager didn't get his check before the game so he screwed the horns.

Switz, don't use sarcasm, they'll take that as a confession and therefore fact.

Here is one for you. Texas OU '02, right before the half Texas punts. An OU player collides with the receiving player who fumbles mid field. A Texas player picks up the ball and runs it in for a TD. Texas is called for a foul that takes points off the board and gives the ball to OU on the Texas side of the 50. OU scores right before the half. Texas goes on to lose 35-24. While that play did not necessarily change the outcome, that ref mistake ended up being a 14 point swing in a game decided by 11. As Texas' only loss on the season it can be argued that one mistake cost Texas a shot at both the conference and national title.

The Longhorn team is actually just a hologram. It's all Texas needs with the refs on their side.

So Butt Plugg Tommy blimps a 2011 game in an irrelevant year that didn't matter to the sips. Awesome.

The Kansas game was a fake PI call on 4th and forever if IIRC.

I literally can't think of one time when the sips were in a critical game when a huge call didn't go there way. I've been watching college football for 25 years (granted, the first 10 of that the sips were largely irrelevant), and I can't think of one instance. Not one.

Pretty sure we're talking about bad calls here. Not first half t-sip blunders.

Let me just clear up a couple of things:

Directional school- wasn't that Arkansas St? I do remember the onsides kick debacle. Pure gift out of nowhere saved the day for the 'horns because they couldn't stop Ark St from moving the ball

Kansas- it wasn't A knee being down. Kansas converted a 3rd down conversion but the refs called a highly controversial offensive pass interference so Kansas couldn't run out the clock

Mangino was Kansas' coach and he had some choice words about it after the game. He was fined and scolded by the conference. That's prob why Gundy used safer language in his complaint

You want statistical proof? I saw this info posted on zoo board - In the last ten years, texas university is 19-1 in games decided by 3 points or less. And in those games the refs all had very "questionable" calls that went tu's way towards the end of those games. That result is not possible in any reality. But somehow for tu it is...hmmmm.

Texas overcomes a 25 to 9 deficit by scoring 19 points in the 4th quarter when Nebraska starts making a sudden rash of penalties. J Taylor was the field judge.

Well, one thing is certain. You ags may have made a 100 year decision and switched conferences, but we still occupy every single crevice of your Gomer Pyle domes!

Y'all spend more time thinking about Texas and their program than your own beloved SEC and supposed new rivals. Here's a thought...insert Alabama into the above conversation and guess what? Welcome to the good ole SEC! You just left the shadow of your imposing big brother to move across town and move in with your equally imposing redneck cousins. I can't wait for all of the "Bama and LSU get all of the calls, they must buy the refs" threads! And no one will give a shyt then either!!

So three false starts, an intentional grounding, and a face mask spread through the second half is a "sudden rash of penalties?"

I guess Texas didn't win because Jamaal Charles rushed for 224 and three TD's in the 4th quarter alone. Nope can't be that

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9tK7TFdOao
Penalties
02:06 False start(clear)
28:35 False start (tackle clearly moves)
37:45 Grounding (barely out of the box but still behind the LOS, so correct call)
40:10 15 yard face mask (very clear)
1:03:45 False start (wrong number but still a FS)

Funny you don't mention Colt being thrown to the ground after he throws, twice, or the holding on the 2 PT conversion, or the block in the back on the ensuing kickoff.

I do appreciate you mentioning that game though because it's a great one to watch.

Man Butt Plugg Tommy is out in full force defending the sips e-honor tonight guys. He just rewatched an entire game from 2007 and took notes so he could come back here and give us the facts. ****ing badass bro.

Out Racistburger, have you been to OB or Sh**** lately? They have 56+ page threads dedicated and entire message boards dedicated to A&M...I've never seen such dedicated vitriol in my life. Sure, this is "Rivalries", but if you haven't noticed, their is as much Houston/Dallas and Techtard, Bibletard, Big12 sucks in general talk as their is anything about the sips. That's a far cry from an entire forum with 56+ page threads in it.

Its really pathetic that you even have to defend your teams wins in so many games because of questionable officiating. If this **** was ever proven to the NCAA, I have to wonder if Texas would be the 2nd team to get the death penalty or if they would just pay off the NCAA too.
