Go to the beach and do some wine tours. It will be hot but dry.

Also, if you make it out to Rottnest Island, don't swing any quokkas by the tail. The local authorities frown pretty heavily on that.
Large Italian population now assimilated but brought their cuisine which is great. Fremantle has a great bar and restaurant scene.
