Several FINE resturants and Mary Mahoneys across the street...One of the best resturants anywhere. Try the Soft Shell Crab or the Three Sisters.
Memphis Q in the BR has a smoked Prime Rib that will make you cry and the banana pudding will leave you begging for mercy.
The Steak House, is top notch and everything from steak to wine done with style and the Asian/Sushi place is most excellant. And, I think they have opened an "Olives", a Doug English resturant just like the one in Bellagio in Vegas.
Generally a high class crowd...not like N.O. where you feel like the guy sitting next to you slept in a Dumpster.
Rooms are excellant, the whole thing being modeled after the Bellagio...sort of a Bellagio Lite. Pool nice, but not fancy, Good coffee shop, good cafe, (although a little slow) and a VERY good Buffett with an excellant Sunday Champain brunch.
A few very good shops inside and well, it's good that everything inside is so great, because even before katrina, Biloxi not much to see and there's just not much left after the storm.
Down the street the HardRock very nice, (and pretty new) although generally a younger crowd it seems. Most of the other casinos are OK, but the BR and the HR are the only ones that have a Vegas feel to me.
BTW, shows general good, esp. if you're sort of retro..Gladis knight, Chicago, that sort of thing.(check the listings on their webpage) They had a house show but don't see it listed anymore and it was just OK. But the venue is excellant with larger seats than Vegas. The two night clubs are pretty good also and the Tiki Bar out at the pool can be fun...all depends on your age I think.
