How long do you want to ignore this user?
Has anyone used one? I saw the link on the Metro site and I've printed out some of the maps of the stations I know we will be stopping at.

Do you think it would be worth it to buy the book if we are only going to be there for a week?

Thanks.

The stations I've been in have been pretty clearly marked so I'm not sure what a map would do for you.

I don't know if this will work but here is a link to one of the maps. This one is the Gallery/Chinatown metro station.

It shows the different metro exits and which way you will be facing once you get to the street level. It also has the different buildings in the area along with street and such.

That seems like overkill to me

I am a pretty detailed vacation planner and I would never waste my money on that. The worst that can happen is you exit out the wrong way which is really not a big deal, you are going to have to carry it around with you, etc

When I went to DC, I would use the Metro trip planner on their website. Just knowing what the street corner was and the color line was enough for us to travel around the city. I wouldn't buy a book when you can get almost all of the same information for free on the internet.

I wouldnt buy one. Cant you find a map on the internet and print a map off and put it in your pocket?

The Metro in DC is VERY easy to use. Probably one of the easiest that I have used in the world.
