He's taking a shot at the fact that the corps really is a relatively small part of the campus today, in a way, and also making the old joke about how they used to film long convoys of soldiers in old military movies by marching them in a big circle, but only filming a section of it, so the same guys would go by the camera over and over for a good long while.

Leach never makes much sense when he talks about A&M, but its always quite amusing

did any of you hear the story he told at media day yesterday? it was his interpretation of a video that the NCAA produced about gambling in college sports.

something about a hooker brings a guy back to her place and blindfolds him. then a man comes in and starts kissing the guy. next, a reporter comes in and starts taking pictures. finally, a mob boss comes in, takes the blindfold off the guy and says something like...

you're up a creek son...now let me tell you how you can make all of this go away...(leach ended the story there)

Definitely what my grandmother would call a "dingbat." Not quite all there but really, really funny most of the time without meaning to be.

Wow another tard without reading comprehension. Not surprising. Read all the posts on this thread, not just the title. Pretty much everyone agrees Leach is hilarious and only like 2 guys are angry. If Leach is in our heads it is in the form of humor, and frankly, I thank him for it - the guy spices up our conference. Guy Morris you laugh at, Mike Leach you laugh with.

For the record, Swamp, I was talking to the original poster who started the thread. I guess you jumped to a conclusion. Also, it is hilarious to me that you would assume that I am a "tard," which I guess means you think I am a Tech fan for some reason. If I had a dollar for each time someone resorted to accuse someone with an individual opinion on here as being a Tech fan, I would own Texags.

Lets not forget the comments about Tech that were made in A&M's 2002 Media Guide. Leach is being classy about it.

Leach is the Lewis Black of football coaching. I don't care if he makes fun of A&M. I appreciated Coach Fran calling tu by its correct name. Leach is not being a jerk, he's just jerking our chain. If that upsets you, you need a xanax.

There are plenty of truly ugly things coaches could say about A&M; Leach isn't being ugly, he's just making his partisanship for his own school apparent. It's entertaining and it makes me want to whup some tech arse even more, just for spite and good bull.
