Why are Vince's agents letting him compete? He can only hurt his draft position.

Honestly, I think he is trying to improve himself with the Texans. He really wants to stay in Houston.

I do not think the Texans are going to pick him just off what he did in the Rose Bowl.

I am not going to lie ... V Young impressed me. His arm is a whole level (at least) better than I thought.

Yep, vince just proved, without a doubt, that he can hit an uncovered reciever without a pass rush (this competition has NO bearing on draft position, even he said it was just to get to hang out, meet these other players, and have a good time)

And he's an athlete being touted as the best ever and barely managed to throw a straight pass on three attempts. It really makes no difference what any of us can do. If you had to be able to do better than somebody to point out when they don't do very well then coaches wouldn't exist.

Yeah and he's the "greatest QB in college football history", and maybe the "first pick".

I hope he could throw 3 balls inbounds.......with no rush.

And that drill has no utility in evaluating talent. They don't grip it and rip it at the combine.

Vince just smoked the mobility competition. Not even close.

vince just raped the QB agility drill

And won the overall QB competition. Placed 2, 2, and 1 in the QB skill competitions. He sucks.

He didn't have to.

He was in the scrambling qb drill against 3 slow white guys. I don't think he was going to look bad.

It still involved making 2 throws... neither of which any of the slow white guys could make.

Bingo. He drilled both the passes. None of the [aggie speak]"white/throwing"[/aggiespeak] QBs hit any of them.

Never said he sucked. I said he didn't do very well in that particular instance. The other folks in the competition managed to keep it within the boundaries for the most part. Croyle's miss hit the wall; it wasn't 8 or 9 yards outside it. VY's best attempt missed hitting the wall by a foot. He's good but he is a long way from anything that could or should be considered the best ever.

WOW, did ya'll see vince tear up the competition. After that he might be one of the top picks in the draft. If you missed it you might want to go jump off a bridge.



That was one of the stupidest things I have seen in awhile. There was no way vince wasn't going to win that. Nothing wrong with the other guys in it, they were just out-matched. Come on people he already has enough hype, he doesn't need anymore.
