i assume they look down on A&M even though we are ranked above them across the board academically.... we're just smart enough to pay 1/3 of the cost for tuition while enjoying a slightly better athletic program than mighty SMU.

I'd would be say that's true, but in reality most of their students likely didn't have a choice between the two. The decision was more likely between SMU, TCU, Baylor, or Tech.

It never ceases to amaze me, the hate every texas school has for A&M. Oh well.
