Aggie Fans,
I am a Bama fan and thought i would come on here to get the best responses. My buddies and i are traveling to the game this weekend and we want to know some places to visit and eat at and things to do in College Station or even Hosuton (where we are staying). Looking forward to the game! Thanks

Wow, lots of friendly aggie responses I see. Go to northgate and visit the Dixie chicken. Grab freebirds burrito for an early lunch. The bush library is nice. Definitely go to the quad and see the corps step off and march to the game (If I remember correctly, it is about 1.5 to 2 hours before the game).

Houston - NASA, museum of natural history, maybe Astros game

College station - bush library, bonfire memorial, fargo's BBQ (Bryan), north gate (specifically Dixie chicken)

not many good options for free parking, but, neighborhoods south of george bush dr,, be careful about 'no parking' signs, i'm sure tow trucks will prowl. $15 for on campus parking

Saturday - walk around in Bama shirts and enjoy free food and beer at tailgates/lose game/Freebirds for dinner/Northgate

The new Air and Space Museum at the Riverside campus.

They recently acquired the Space Shuttle Endeavour and the last SR-71 flown over Russia.

^^Freebirds is a great, cheap, and quick place to grub down that is quite different (in looks and in taste) from typical burrito places like Chipotle, etc.

If you can, try C&J's BBQ as well, good stuff.

Rudy's is pretty good for what it is and the "More" is much better than the "wings" at Wings N More.
Nothing is more overrated than Layne's, unless you just really like tiny little dried out pieces of chicken.
