Am I the only one just a little concerned about the SMU game? It shouldnt be a difficult game but considering how we've started the last few years in non conference games against much weaker teams, A June Jones coached team that was in a bowl game last year and has shown improvement is preparing all off season to play A&M week one. Should be a win but with the Ark. St. loss and how Fla Atlantic almost snuck up last season I worry about a slow start against a pretty good team.

I'm always nervous about games. But 99% of me wants to, and does, believe that we have the experience and poise to not let something like that happen.

As inexcusable as the Ark St loss was, that A&M team couldn't stay on the field with 2011 squad, and I don't mean any disrespect to the 2008 team.

We just weren't anywhere near where we are now.

June Jones is a heck of a coach and SMU is certainly improved, but A&M should handle them easily.

The pass happy SMU offense should provide some reps for our D, but I'm guessing we have 5 TD's on the board by halftime. There are no gimmes, but even if we aren't as good as we expect, this one should be a cake walk.
