I obviously don't agree with OP. However, this board could sure use a LOT more hate for the gooners. Sick and tired of people giving them a free pass just because they hate the sips as much as we do. **** OU

They are our biggest recruiting rival and have been since Stoops got there. We held our own with them until 03 (obviously 77-0 not withstanding) which is why we were able to hang close on the field until recently.

Most OU fans love the Aggies and you are are our favorite Texas team. We just try to get along with you all and you won't let us even be nice to you

Sooners won't like A&M near as much if the program ever gets to where it should be. If the Ags can start holding serve against OU at home, you'll be changing your tune.

In the 27 times that A&M has played OU, only twice has OU beat A&M by more than 40 points (1999 and 2003).

I think this mentality of where the Aggies "should be" has hurt you guys more than you realize. It comes off as entitlement to others.

I can see how you think that, but it really has nothing to do with entitlement. Expectations is the correct word. There's no reason for Aggies and and A&M fans not to expect for their team to be competing for division and conference crowns every year in general. Yes i realize there have been weaknesses each year that take time to fix with recruiting and player development. Perhaps having lofty and unrealistic expectations can be detrimental, such has how the firing of R.C. and hiring of Fran were handled. Since then i do not see in any way how A&M fans have been so delusional, as many fans from other schools put it. It's not like we're canning coaches every year just to start over and hope it's the "right guy" that time. I'm not going to compromise my expectations just because 3 giants happen to surround A&M either.

If you want to talk about entitlement, go talk to horn fans. I don't think A&M is "entitled" to anything. For many reasons, though, i feel perfectly justified in expecting greater things than i've seen the last 10 years. I'm pretty sure about every single person here with a brain would agree.

Go ahead and get lathered up with your sister over Baylor if you want, but OU as a rival is at least on par with Tech, especially when you consider Tech doesn't even prey on our top recruiting targets. Not to mention hearing all the trash that Stoops spews to our recruits about us?

Just because we've been weak for several years doesn't mean we shouldn't still be putting the top Big 12 teams on notice.

OU was my favorite Oklahoma team that night in 1997 when RC's Aggies beat them 51-7 and emptied half the stadium by halftime.

MJ, I live in Waco when I'm not going to school in Aggieland. Try wearing an Aggie hat in Vitek's after the Ag's get beat by Baylor in anything, it's much bigger than my sister. When's the last time OU painted the Aggie Barn? OU may have the recruiting rival, but after making the trip to Tceh this past season the rivalry is much more intense and disrespectful (due to tceh tards) than OU, IMO.

Sad really....Over ONE kid? We lost fuller and Pierre Brown (no real loss there) to you guys.(But I know - thats different right?) A&M consistantly has a top 20 recruiting class but does nothing with it every year.. How can you call it a rivalry when we just count it as a win every year. You guys haven't beaten OU in over 8 years. Some of your own posters in thsi thread called it right...OU as your rival..BWAHAHAHAHA - Beat us on a consistant basis then call us your rival....

Baylor....are we talking about Baylor?? I can't imagine that many people in Waco give a rats a$$ when ATM or UT come in and whip up on them, they are just happy they sold out their stadium for the day. Seriously folks, it's like an 80/20 split between visitors and the home crowd.
