I like Muschamp, I'm just a little worried he might be too much of a hot head to be a head coach----he reminds me of Orgeron who has been a major failure.

Peterson is definitely my #4.

I think Pelini goes to LSU (assuming Miles to Michigan) or Nebraska

yet still list Spurrier in your top 3?

Joe Paterno: Hell, he's so out of it, we could just kidnap him, tell him State College is now called College Station and PSU changed their colors to maroon and white. We will save a ton of $$ by paying him with hard candy and Ensure.

Spurrier is highly unlikely, but he is not impossible like Tuberville is. I'm telling you guys, he is not even on Byrne's long list. There is no chance in the world that we would pay Fran $2-8 million, then turn aroudn the next day and cut a check to Aubrun for $6 million, then on the same day offer a contract that pays $3-4 million per year. Tuberville will not happen.

Is this our wish list or what we think will happen? If it is a prediction, then:

1. Tuberville. Why not take a chance on a big name coach. Since Spurrier is a pipedream (not enough golf. Seriously.) and Tedford seems unlikely, go for Tuberville.

2. Pelini- Coached at LSU and OU. Has to know area recruiting. Has NFL experience. All around nice fit. Muschamp (sp?) is out because if we offer the job to his boss and get rejected, I don't see us offering the job to him. Strong can't have the same Texas ties that Pelini does.

3. Sherman- NFL head coaching experience, but with college experience too. Won't be as hard headed as Callahan was. I can't see him turning us down either.
