Just showed video of the A&M saber incident

Had heard about it but never seen the video. What was that guy thinking?

Never saw vid either. So embarrassing. Almost as bad as lining up crotch to butt and squeezing your genitals on national TV.

Then he let himself and his fellow Cadets down by getting punked.

I like how Patrick Duffy is narrating.

Great for us. All these SMU scumbags arent willing to tell the truth so they make us look like the arch villains.

The half shirts and short shorts for practice are classic. And by classic I mean gay.

That happened right in front of me. I was about 10 rows up. I recall my reaction to seeing him pull the sabre being "Please God, no!".

Gregg Hood. I was sitting on the bottom of the upper deck on the goal line where it happened...right in front of me. SMU cheerleaders violated the stay-off-the-field rule at Kyle to do some handsprings or the like. Hood had been yelling at them all game, and he finally snapped...drew his saber and charged out, ostensibly to scare the jerks.

It was a most humiliating moment in Aggie football history

For several years afterward the Schulman 6 Movie Theater in Bryan ran advertisements for The Eagle prior to previews. Which image did they plaster across the movie screen?

Yep, you guessed it. It was embarassing even then.

It's a good show. Gets me excited about recruiting...

Greg Hood was one of the officers of the day. They got to wear sabers, but were not supposed to pull them out of the scabbard.

SMU scored and their male cheerleaders ran on the field and laid down in formation spelling S, then M, then U.

Greg went charging on to the field, saber drawn.

He ran next to one of the cheerleaders laying on the ground, maybe a slight kick or push with his boot.

Cheerleader got up and gave him the shove to the ground.

I was on 2nd deck. We all thought he was going to stab the cheerleader.

We all thought it was pretty cool and were cheering when he ran on the field to defend our 'honor' against the dumbass SMU cheerleaders ... then he pulled the saber and we all said "uh oh".

I got to see eric dickerson and craig james when I was a kid. There was an electric atmosphere at those games at cowboys stadium.

I can't get over the fact that Patrick Duffy/Bobby Ewing is narrating.

The only way that could possibly be more awesome is if they had Larry Hagman do it.

Hmm... Bill Clements should give us pause. Yet another reason to despise Gov Goodhair. He's been in office during one of the worst runs in Aggie football history.

Whatever happened to that sweet gold trans am Dickerson got? That ride was fly.

The fact that Dan Beebe was an NCAA investigator at one point tells me all I need to know about the NCAA and leadership of the B12-2.

We should have paid Eric Dickerson way more. I am really upset.
