Out of that group? The GS350, M37, and A6 3.0. In that order.

A6 for me. The 5 series is a close second.

GS or M37 for the less maintenance. XF for looks alone.

The one made in the USA.

M37 or GS350 realistically. XF does look really nice though.

535i. That M might be the ugliest thing Infiniti has ever made, and that's saying something.

A6.

Lease or buy? Lease, maybe a 535. Buy, prolly the M37. I think it looks good.

I'll be the oddball with your money...

If you're going to buy a shop queen, you might as well enjoy looking at it I say.

(M35 is fine though, just a bit blah.)

Long Term (though bigger engined) Inside Line tests:

Jaguar XF

Infinit M56

XF for sure. have driven both A6 and XF. the XF is more comfortable in terms of seats and ride as well as being just as fast if not faster than the A6. The XF i drove was a 2010 that has almost 70,000 miles on it and is driven like a race car almost everyday. just follow the maintenance schedule and buy the wheel warranty/insurance if offered. Wheels are $800 a piece and get out of round easily if you get a flat.

The Jaguar for sure.

Don't laugh, but have have you considered the Hyundai Genesis? They are quite nice and can be very peppy depending on engine for a great value.

Speaking of the Genesis, my dad sold his 750Li to get a Hyundai Equus. He loves the Equus and doesn't miss the 750 (or taking it to the shop) at all.

535i

I think some cars are more "polished" inside, but I'll be damned if the bmw's aren't just perfect for driving

I've had a 325i, 330i, X5, and currently have a 550i and 335i

I think I am leaning toward the XF - it is in my opinion the best looking and there are fewer of them on the road than the others.

I would consider a Genesis or Equis but I am not sure I could pull the trigger. If I want an E class, I am partly paying for the badge and I don't think I would want a knock off.

I don't like the "new" Infiniti M. Overstyled like everything from Nissan now.

But then we the bland-mobile 535i. Completely invisible on the road.

I would choose Audi of the ones in the OP's list. I love Jaguar (owned an S-type) but I think you are rolling the dice in a bad way.

the new ones look great. probably my favorite (for looks) luxury car on the road today.

if you're talking about the previous generation, i'd agree with you

That list, outside of the Infiniti and the Lexus, is like a craps table at Vegas when it comes to rolling the dice

I'd probably lean A6 as well if money/repair is no object, M37 if you want more reliability.

Fun list to have to choose from though.

If it had to be German, the E350. Mechanically more simple than the Audi or BMW, which will be easier and cheaper to maintain when the car ages.

Out of the Japanese ones, the GS350.

If it doesn't have to be brand-new, I think a used Infiniti M35 is a great value. They're nice cars and aren't terribly expensive to maintain.

Which one do you think you will enjoy driving to the shop for repairs more?

Outside of the Lexus and infinity of course.

XF seems the coolest looking to me, but also like a young persons car

I don't know if I could disagree more. The new 535i is BMW's blandest 5 series yet. The only identifiable styling trait is the grill. Otherwise it is almost Hyundai like.

I tend to agree. Loved the E60 design, not so hot on the new one.

I wasnt much of an E60 fan, I prefer the F10. I did have an E39 which is the best looking 5-series ever.

I have a 2008 GS350 and love it. From everything I've read, the new 4th gen is an incredible vehicle. I'm not in love with the new body though.

My boss has a Hyundai Equus.. I don't know how I feel about them. On one hand - boring, lame, waste of money.. On the other hand - good value for money, nice styling, de-badging would be a must.
SpicewoodAg
How long do you want to ignore this user?
De-badging a Hyundai is for *ussies. It means you are embarrassed by the label on your car. If the label matters that much buy a BMW, Audi, M-B, or Lexus.

I think de-badging for vanity or "stealth" is pretty weird but it just says you are fussy.
GarlandAg2012
How long do you want to ignore this user?
What about rebadging, like the challenger script badges instead of the block lettering or the winged Hyundai logo instead of the regular American one? I approve of both of these but don't usually like de-badging
SpicewoodAg
How long do you want to ignore this user?
GarlandAg - I put badge changes in the vanity category. Obviously some people like that stuff. Some NSX owners rebadge the car as Honda instead of Acura because it is a Honda in Japan. I won't do it but I say "whatever" for people that do that. One thing I really dislike is gold badging. That is just stupid bling.
