Anybody from anywhere BESIDES Pine Tree, dang. Naw, I'm just kidding, but do any of you guys know Shawn Sams or Chad Stewart? Both those guys transfered to Tatum in like the 8th and 9th grades.

I know both of those guys...Knew Shawn decently well...would see him from time to time at A&M...played baseball with him growing up.

I actually just drove through Tatum...the whole town is empty.

It was dead because everyone in that town was in Dallas watching Tatum FINALLY win a State Championship. Man it's been too long with some of the teams we have had come through Tatum.

Anyway, yeah me and Shawn used to hang out all the time down in CS. Used to go over all the time and cook out. That is until I almost burnt down his apartment. That was an interesting night. I havent really talked to him since he got married and moved to Austin though.

That name sounds familiar, but I can't really tell you for sure if she was my math teacher or not. I haven't been able to come up with who taught me math in 7th or 8th grade, the first name I remember is 9th grade Algebra (Coxy). I'll have to check the ol' yearbook once I get home for christmas and see if I can put a face with the name.

Me and my cousin from that EF '95 class both ended up at A&M. I didn't know too many people from Waskom, so I'm really not sure who your sister is, but if I figure out who your mom was maybe it will come to me.

Agoholic- Did you know Mason Barrington?

He and I were roommates at a leadership conference at SFA in July of '94. He was killed about a month after we all went home.

I still think about him sometimes.

Yeah man, Mason was a good friend of mine. His parents knew my parents, so we spent a lot of time together growing up.

I was the first person to drive up on his wreck. We had just got out of football practice, and we took the same route home. It was a small oil dirt road, and I topped a hill and his truck was demolished in the middle of the road. It was a pretty tough experience for me and my brother. I'll never forget my father walking in my room later that night and saying "He didn't make it."

He was a good guy, and I'll always remember him. I still see his mother every now and then, if you knew her I can tell her Hi for you.

as corny as this sounds (we were in high school after all)--

Tell her that radioman says hello. That was all she called me at the funeral.

You and I probably met each other back then. I even drove all the way to Bradley, Arkansas for the burial. Very sad- but I remember it like it was yesterday.
